1. The physical function target of the cardboard itself used to make the carton.


When the tensile strength of the corrugated cardboard used in the production of the carton box is not good, it will cause the carton to show a steady increase in the force value and deformation amount in the compression test, resulting in a high and low effective force value. At the same time, the waterproof function of cardboard is also very important, especially the carton used for refrigerated packaging, which requires high waterproof function of cardboard. During storage, it is easy to absorb moisture and cause the box to collapse, resulting in the problem of collapse.


2. Reasonable design of carton production process.


After the surface, the production process of the carton will also have a certain impact on the compressive strength of the carton, such as the horizontal pressure line of the carton. Under the same conditions, the compressive strength of the carton will decrease by 90~130N and the deformation will increase by 2mm for every 1mm added to the width of the transverse pressure line of the carton. That is to say, if the pressure line is too wide, the force value of the carton will be added slowly during the compression test, the effective force value will be small, and the deformation will be large. Therefore, in order to ensure the compressive strength of corrugated cartons, in addition to working hard on cardboard, we also need to reasonably design the production process of cartons to minimize the impact of each process on the compressive strength of cartons.

3. Fully consider the relationship between the carton type and corrugated cardboard, and select the appropriate corrugated cardboard according to the box type.


People who are not very familiar with Suzhou dangerous goods cartons tend to think that the larger the corrugated shape of the cardboard, the higher the compressive strength of the carton, while ignoring the influence of the corrugated shape on the amount of deformation. Generally speaking, the larger the flute type, the greater the compressive strength of the carton, and the greater the deformation; the smaller the flute type, the smaller the compressive strength of the carton, and the smaller the deformation. If the carton is too large, but the corrugated shape is small, the carton will be easily crushed during the compression test; if the carton is too small, the corrugated shape is large, the deformation will be too large during the compression test, and the buffering process will be long and effective. The deviation between the force value and the final force value is too large. Therefore, in the design of corrugated boxes, selecting the appropriate corrugated type according to the type of the carton is also a crucial step to control the compressive strength of the carton.
