Classification of outer packaging corrugated boxes

The so-called classification according to the structure is the same as the classification according to the use of several core papers and face papers.

1. Single-sided corrugated cardboard

The single-sided corrugated cardboard is shown in the picture above. The surface paper is pasted on one side of the corrugated core paper. Its name is defined according to the number of sheets used. It is cylindrical or cut to a certain size, and is used as a buffer material and a fixing material.

2. Double-sided corrugated cardboard (three-layer corrugated cardboard) is commonly known as single corrugated cardboard

Double-sided corrugated cardboard as shown in the figure is made by pasting surface paper on both sides of corrugated corrugated paper. The flute type can use any of A, B, C, and E. At present, double-sided corrugated cardboard is the most used carton in the world.

3. Double-sided corrugated cardboard (five-layer corrugated cardboard) is commonly known as double corrugated cardboard

Double-sided corrugated cardboard is made of two layers of corrugated corrugated paper plus surface paper, that is, a single-sided corrugated cardboard and a double-sided corrugated cardboard are laminated together. Structurally, it can adopt various combinations of flute types, so its performance is also different. Because its ordinary double-sided corrugated cardboard is thick, its performance in all aspects is stronger than that of double-sided corrugated cardboard (three-layer corrugated cardboard), especially the compressive strength in the vertical direction, which is significantly improved. Corrugated boxes made of five-layer corrugated cardboard) are mostly used for the packaging of fragile items, heavy items and long-term preservation items (such as fresh vegetables and fruits with high moisture content).

4, three-wafer double-sided corrugated cardboard (seven-layer corrugated) commonly known as three-corrugated

Three-core double-sided (seven-layer) corrugated cardboard is made of three-layer corrugated corrugated paper, that is, a double-sided double-sided corrugated paper is pasted on a single-sided corrugated paper. As with double-sided (three-layer) corrugated paper, various combinations of A, B, C, and E can be used. Structurally, the corrugated cardboard composed of three corrugated shapes is stronger than the double-sided (three-layer) corrugated cardboard composed of two corrugated shapes. Corrugated boxes made of cardboard are mostly used to pack heavy items.
